A: There is no cost to you for using our services. We are paid by the carriers for placing orders with them and for servicing your account. there is no additional markup on the services you buy and you will receive the same special pricing and/or promotions that you would otherwise be entitled to. In some cases, you may choose to have us strictly because we are unbiased as we work for you representing most all the service providers. We recommend what best fits your needs because we represent several of the providers-not just pushing one.

A: The providers that we recommend depend on a variety of factors such as you location, the type of product you need, your timeframe, and your budget. We normally start by reviewing your current bill copies and then consulting with you and your staff to determine the best products and price points. Since we represent several carriers, we are not limited by the choices we have.

A: You can learn more about T-1 on this page. For the average consumer, T-1 is a circuit that essentially carries 24 phone lines on it. Those phone lines can also carry 64k of data (so if you use all 24 for Internet access you would have 64k x 24 lines = 1.54MB off bandwidth).

A T1 can also be split up to carry both voice and Internet traffic. This type of T1 is normally called a “dynamic”, “integrated” or “combo T”. All of the carriers have different marketing names, but they basically do the same thing.

A: Rather than blow our own horn, it may be better to read some of the comments from a few of our happy customers. Our CEO has over 18 years experience in the industry, and most of our employees and agents have a minimum of 8 years experience in the industry and can help you successfully navigate through the tricky world of telecom. We will audit your current services, submit the paperwork, coordinate with you and your vendors, verify scheduling and timelines, provide consistent updates, and track your services after they are installed. We also keep track of your contracts and contact you 90 days prior to the end of your contract, so they don’t just autorenew at the end of your term. This gives us the chance to renegotiate your current pricing and make sure you’re still with the best provider using the latest technology. We look at you as our long-term customer.

A: Compass Communications, Inc. does not sell phone systems directly or provide any hardware. Rather, we have a number of Independent Business Partners who represent several of the major manufacturers of voice and data equipment. We would be happy to refer you to as many different companies as you would like to meet with. We regularly review our equipment Business partners to make sure we are recommending the most professional vendors and updated with the latest technology to best assist with all your equipment needs.

Also some of the carriers we represent offer bundled packages where they will provide the phone and internet services and sell or lease you the actual equipment. Speak with one of our sales associates for more details.

A: Although you still get all the same services provided by the service provider directly, you also get support by Compass Communications. By doing business for the past 18+ years, we have direct back lines to contact customer support, tech support, and bulling should you need to make any changes or need help with any problems.

After becoming a customer, we keep detailed information about your services provided such as circuit ID numbers, hunt groups and listings of your phone numbers along with other information to help with any problems you may experience or changes needed along the way.

We simply provide the option of letting us do what we know best and report everything back to you leaving you the time to do what you do best — running your company.
